N0ne is a 4-piece musical collective from Lahti, Finland. Collective started to play together in summer 2010. Originally the group was just a therapic cover project and place for random musicians, but sometime during winter/spring 2011 the marrow of 4 decided to form a completely new band and start to write an original material for it.
Maybe the best way to describe N0Ne's music is to call it alternative rock, but only because of that it doesn't chain their art to any specific genre and that way it doesn't limit their ways to express themselves anyhow. The group wants to stay independent from any too limiting genre classifications and narrow-minded scene polices. You can hear the influences from many directions starting from 90's alternative rock, grunge, post-punk to 70's rock, traditional pop and metal music. Anyway the key to their music is to keep it catchy and innovative.
The lyrical concept is to express true feelings and extract all kinds of inhibitions that are straining heart, mind and soul. Band doesn't want to explain their lyrics too specificially, but to let the listener make their own interpretations about them. The ambiance and atmosphere would be individual to each listener, but none of them are the false ones.
The group started to record a pre-production demos from their songs in the end of February. From 8-10 songs they will select 4 or 5 songs that will be completely re-recorded for the upcoming EP that should be released during the spring 2012.
